Always Go to the (real) SOURCE
Scams are only heading to get more complex so there is no better time to know where your accounts are and have official contact records. Best would be when you have an established contact such as an account manager.
But ALWAYS - go to the source and do not trust options presented to you from unsolicited calls, emails, texts, website popups or unknown websites!
Attacks such as these can be a challenge to identify especially when they are multi-tiered and organized such as these!
Although this particular warning is targted to Americans, the advice applies to everyone, everywhere.
