Another version of Windows 10 (Windows 10S) will be around this summer but with a more focused intent for the educational market claiming a smaller software footprint and better security. It will likely be targeted in lower cost machines when it is finally available.

 

But don't jump into it because of a lower cost machine.

Know it's intent and limitations.
